My Top 10 Disney Movies

If you used to watch Disney movies as a kid and want to show your children the movies that were part of your childhood, The Top Ten of My favorite Disney movies are for you.

10. Pinocchio



In the 10th position, we have Pinocchio. Pinocchio was released in February 1940.


Pinocchio is an adorable film about a marionette called Pinocchio that wants to become a real boy so he can be happy with his creator.


9. Cinderella


If you are in love with romantic stories and enjoy watching princesses falling in love, Cinderella is for you.


Cinderella came out in July 1950.


Cinderella lives with her stepmother and her stepmother's two daughters after her dad dies. Her family hates her as they treat her like a slave. One day, Prince Charming's father organizes a ball to find a woman to marry his son. Cinderella wants to go, but her stepmother forbids her. Thankfully, she managed to go to the ball with the fairy godmother's help.


8. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs



Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938) is a movie about a young girl who gets exiled by her stepmother. Her stepmother is a jealous woman that envies Snow White's beauty, and she will do anything to get rid of her. When Snow White finds out that her stepmother wants to kill her, she runs away from home. As she runs away, she gets rescued by seven dwarfs.


7. Mulan



Mulan is an American animated movie released in June 1998. Famous actors such as Ming Na wen (Mulan), Eddie Murphy (Mushu), and Beth Fowler (Bather) covered the animated voices of the characters.


Mulan is about a girl that dresses up as a man to take her father's place in the Chinese military army so her father doesn't have to go.


6. Lady and The Tramp



Coming up next, we have Lady and the Tramp. This movie is honestly one of the cutest movies I have ever watched.


The Lady and The Tramp is an American is a movie about a romance between two dogs.


5. Sleeping Beauty



In the fifth position, we have Sleeping Beauty.


Sleeping Beauty (1959) is a movie about a princess who was supposed to be cursed to death. Thanks to a fairy, she survived as this one was able to put her to sleep with a spell. Only a kiss from a prince can save her


4. Beauty and the Beast



Next is Beauty and the Beast.


Beauty and the Beast is a movie that was released in theatre in October 1991.


This film is about a woman named Belle, who is the prettiest and the most intelligent girl in the village. One day, her father gets abducted by a Beast, so she decides to take his place. She ends ups serving the Beast, and as she spends time with him, Belle ends up falling in love with him.


3. Aladdin




We are finally on our Top 3.


In the third place, we have Aladdin. Aladdin is one of the most engaging animated movie that I have ever watched.


This film came out in November 1992 with Robbie Williams as the voice actor for the genie.


Aladdin is a thief that the royal vizier hires to find a lamp. What he does not know is that in this lamp, there is a Genie, a Genie that can guarantee all his wishes.


2. The Lion King



In the second position, we have the Lion King.


The Lion King came out in October 1994, and it is one of my personal favorites. The film has many enjoyable moments, and the characters are honestly just so adorable and funny.


Simba's father gets murdered by his uncle, leading to Simba having to leave the rest of his family. Years later, he returns to take his Kingdom back from his uncle evil's hands.


1. The Little Mermaid



My all-time favorite is the little Mermaid! The story of the little Mermaid is a movie that made me believe in love again.


Ariel, the little Mermaid, falls in love with a human prince as she saves him from drowning. Head over heels with the prince, she finds a way to get changed to a human so she can be with him. Ursula, a sea witch, helps her to do so in exchange for her voice.


This film premiered in October 1990.
