The Sixth Sense, 1999

The Sixth Sense is a psychological thriller about a psychologist portrayed by Bruce Willis who is assigned a young patient who can see ghosts among the living. One of the first critically acclaimed movies by M.Night Shyamalan it follows Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis) as he tries to help his young patient Cole (Haley Joel Osment) come to terms with his supernatural ability while also delivering one of the best plot twists that Malcolm Crowe was dead the whole time, which make sense and gives away the clues throughout.


Shutter Island, 2010

Another Psychological Thriller set in the 1950s directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Teddy Daniels. DiCaprio and his new partner travel to Shutter Island to investigate a missing patient. What follows is a neo-noir style mystery with a final act filled with revelations and a plot twist that’ll leave you lost for words.


Scream, 1996

Scream is a slasher teen thriller, directed by Wes Craven and known for reinventing the slasher genre with dark comedy in the 90s. It follows the story of Sidney and her high school friends when a masked killer known as Ghostface starts murdering the students and taunting Sidney with her mothers' murder. The ending plot twist is when we discover it was her psychopathic boyfriend Billy and his friend Stu the whole time, as you rewatch over the years you can see how obvious it was from the beginning.


The Usual Suspects, 1995

The Usual Suspects is a 90s mystery thriller told by narrator Roger Kint about a heist gone wrong and the dangerous crime lord Keyser Söze. It features an ensemble cast including Benicio del Toro and Stephen Baldwin as Kint tells his version of events to the detectives, it’s not until the last five minutes that we get one of the best plot twists when it turns out Kint was Keyser Söze all along and as you rewatch you notice all the obvious clues that point to the big reveal.


Us, 2019

Jordan Peele’s second horror film stars Lupita Nyong’o as she portrays Adelaide and her doppelgänger Red. It follows Adelaide’s family as mysterious doppelgängers start appearing and murdering others over the country. We follow as Adelaide and her family try to survive and understand why this is happening, and the final act delivers a memorable plot twist that reveals itself slowly and leaves you stunned whilst being easy to predict following the clues throughout.
